Teaching English in Italy - Summer 2010
In summer 2010, I spent 3 months teaching English to Italian children all over Italy. I worked for a company called Associazione Culturale Linguistica Educational (A.C.L.E.). I travelled from the North of Italy all the way to the South. Along the way, I met some very interesting people and made some life long friends. On this website, you will find pictures and information about one of my most memorable life experiences.
My journey began with a week spent in San Remo for the training. I met many new life long friends during this training with whom I still keep in touch with to this day.
Once the training was complete, we were all teamed up into groups and sent off to our first job. Each camp lasts 1 or 2 weeks. I got the chance to work at a 1 week camp as well as 2 week camps. Here is the list of cities I was lucky to work in: Rome, Bari, Pisa, Florence and Bergamo. I also got a chance to take a week off with some of my new friends and got to enjoy the history of Florence and the beauty of the Amalfi Coast.
On this website, you will find, on each page, pictures and information on my experience in each city.
Enjoy,
